The Japanese government submitted a new bill to Parliament in April 2013 to introduce a new collective litigation scheme brought by designated consumer organisations. This talk introduces the background and outline of this new bill and analyses the possible impact of such a bill.

■ AN EVENING TALK by The Hon Mr Justice Blair High Court Judge on THE COMMERCIAL COURT held on the 4th November 2010. The Hon Mr Justice Blair is a well-known international expert in the law of banking and finance and a judge in the Commercial Court talked about London’s Commercial Court (‘the Court’).

■ 20 August 2009 - talk by Mr Tets Ishikawa, the author of "How I caused the Credit Crunch". Mr Ishikawa is a UK-educated Japanese who had worked for a number of major investment banks, and is currently a freelance writer.
